Is this an arts club?
No. This is not just a club. It's a high school curriculum with Arts as major or specialization. This comes along with core subjects like Math, Science, English, etc.
What are the benifits of being in the Arts Curriculum?
There are quite a lot. Learners who are specialising arts can have more opportunities to being empowered young artists to ignite creativity. This program also builds self-confidence among learners.
Is this only about drawing and painting alone?
No. We cater different arts interests and potentials of our learners. We cater performing arts (dance, music, theater) and production arts (media, visual, creative writing). Learners will also get to know all other art fields in their 7th grade through art rotation exploration to help them decide which one to specialise toward higher grade levels.
What are the requirements to qualify in the program?
First, one must have talent that can be enhanced. This can be validated through a scheduled Talent Test, portfolio, MI inventory, and interview. Second, one must have a final grade not lower than 80 in the Report Card. Third, one's parent must vouch that he/she is willing to support with the materials, supplies, equipment, costume, or instruments that one needs being an art student.
